Story
Hi there!
I'm making a difference by fundraising for the Berkeley Half Marathon 2024 to benefit Charlotte Maxwell Clinic (CMC).
Studies show that low-income women typically do not have access to the full range of cancer support services that allows them to sustain or enhance their quality of life. CMC fills that gap by providing holistic complementary therapies, including acupuncture, therapeutic massage, movement therapy, nutrition support, and more, at no charge, for over 200 courageous, resilient women each month, women like this mother, a stage 3 cancer survivor:
"When I came to CMC, my physical and emotional well-being were seriously compromised. After receiving weekly natural healing therapy for six months there, I experienced incredible relief and relaxation. Each session helped to alleviate the body pain and stress that I had been experiencing following chemotherapy treatment. CMC was the one thing I looked forward to during this difficult time... I extend my heartfelt gratitude to those who have made this service possible. The amazing staff and caring providers helped me heal and still be here for my family."
Please support my efforts by making a secure online donation and by posting a message of support.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice, Charlotte Maxwell Clinic. Thanks so much for your support!

The Charlotte Maxwell Clinic
We provide integrative cancer care for low-income, underserved Bay Area women with cancer. Most of our clients are Latina, African-American, and Asian, many speak little to no English and over 70% live below the federal poverty level.
Our acupuncture, herbs, homeopathy, massage, guided imagery and movement therapy treatments complement mainstream cancer treatments to ease the pain, nausea, fatigue and anxiety that often accompany surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.
